Power Your Home With
Free Sunlight

Your rooftop receives free sunlight every day — and a solar system converts it into electricity that powers your home. With net metering, any surplus power is exported to the grid, earning you credits that further reduce your bill.

With the PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy, a 3kW home system can cost as little as ₹70,000–₹90,000 net — and pay back in just 4–5 years. After that, 20+ years of virtually free electricity.

Which Solar System is
Right for Your Home?

We help you choose the right configuration based on your electricity usage, budget, and location.

⭐ Most Popular for Homes
On-Grid Solar System

Connected to the state electricity grid. Your solar panels power your home during the day; surplus electricity is exported to the DISCOM via net metering, earning bill credits. When solar isn't generating (night/cloudy), grid power takes over automatically. No batteries needed — lowest cost, best ROI.

No Battery Net Metering 1kW – 10kW Subsidy Eligible
Off-Grid Solar System

Fully independent from the electricity grid. Solar panels charge a battery bank during the day; batteries power your home at night or during power cuts. Ideal for homes in areas with frequent or long power outages, or in remote locations without reliable grid connectivity.

Battery Backup 24/7 Power Remote Areas 1kW – 5kW
Hybrid Solar System

The best of both worlds — grid-connected with battery storage. Solar powers your home, excess charges the battery, and the grid is a backup. You get the savings of on-grid net metering plus the security of battery backup for outages. Perfect for homes that want zero compromise.

Grid + Battery Net Metering Backup Power 1kW – 10kW

Find the Right System
Size for Your Home

Not sure what capacity you need? Match your average monthly electricity consumption to the right system size. All figures are for on-grid systems before subsidy.

System Units/Month Best For Bill Saving Payback
1 kW 120–130 Small apartment / 2BHK ₹700–₹900 4–5 yrs
2 kW 240–260 2–3 BHK home ₹1,400–₹1,800 4–5 yrs
5 kW 600–650 Large home / villa ₹3,500–₹4,500 4–5 yrs
7.5 kW 900–975 Kothi / farmhouse ₹5,000–₹6,500 4–5 yrs
10 kW 1,200–1,300 Large bungalow / guesthouse ₹7,000–₹9,000 3–4 yrs

★ 3 kW is the most popular system size for Indian homes and attracts the maximum government subsidy.

Everything you need to know before going solar at home.

Before subsidy, a residential on-grid system costs approximately ₹35,000–₹50,000 per kW. After applying the PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy (up to 40% for up to 2kW, 20% for 2kW–3kW), the effective net cost drops significantly. A 3kW system — the most popular size — typically costs ₹70,000–₹90,000 after subsidy. A 1kW system can cost as little as ₹25,000–₹35,000 net. We provide a fully itemised quote with the post-subsidy cost clearly shown so there are no surprises.
As a thumb rule, each kW of solar requires approximately 80–100 square feet of shadow-free roof area. So a 3kW system needs roughly 240–300 sq. ft. — which is well within the available space on most 2–3 BHK home rooftops. Our engineer will assess your roof during the free site survey and tell you exactly how many panels can be installed and in what configuration. We work with flat RCC rooftops, metal sheet roofs, and even sloped tiled roofs with appropriate mounting.
This depends on the system type. Standard on-grid solar systems automatically shut down during a grid power cut (as a safety requirement to protect DISCOM line workers). They resume as soon as the grid is restored. If you want power during outages, you need a hybrid system with battery storage — which we also offer. During the consultation, we assess your power cut frequency and recommend the most cost-effective solution for your situation.
Net metering is a billing arrangement approved by your DISCOM. Your old electricity meter is replaced with a bidirectional net meter that measures both the power you consume from the grid and the surplus solar power you export to it. At the end of each billing cycle, you only pay for the net units consumed (grid units minus solar export). If your solar generation exceeds your consumption in a month, the excess units are carried forward as credits to offset future bills. We handle the complete net metering application and DISCOM approval process for you.
Solar panels have no moving parts and require very minimal maintenance. The primary need is periodic cleaning — approximately every 2–3 months — to remove dust and bird droppings, which can reduce output by 5–20% if left uncleaned. We include 2 free cleaning visits in our 1-year free AMC. After the first year, affordable annual AMC packages are available. Beyond cleaning, the inverter may require attention once in 10–12 years. Overall, home solar is one of the lowest-maintenance energy investments you can make.
Most standard RCC rooftops in Indian homes are structurally capable of supporting solar panels. Each panel weighs approximately 12–15 kg, and when distributed across a proper mounting structure, the load per square foot is quite manageable. Our site survey includes a basic structural assessment. For older or non-standard roofs, we may recommend lightweight panel options or a minimal ballasted mounting system that distributes load more effectively. In rare cases where the roof cannot support panels, we can explore ground-mounted options in your compound.
